Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 2026

By accessing and using the MockType platform (the "Website"), you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Nature of the Service (Independent Simulator)

MockType is an independently developed, privately owned educational tool designed to help individuals practice typing skills. We are entirely independent and hold no affiliation, endorsement, authorization, or official connection to any Government Ministry, Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), TCS iON, or any other public examination board.

2. No Guarantee of Exam Outcomes

While MockType implements rigorous algorithms designed to mimic standard data entry evaluations (including tracking Full and Half mistakes based on public guidelines), we make no representations or warranties regarding your performance in actual examinations. The layout, software mechanics, error tolerance percentages, and interface of official testing environments may differ from our simulator. Utilizing MockType does not guarantee a passing grade or specific outcome in any official test.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All original code, algorithms, UI designs, and the MockType™ brand name are the intellectual property of the Website owner. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or commercially redistribute our software or layout without explicit written permission. All other product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used strictly for nominative fair use to describe the simulation context.

4. User Conduct and Restrictions

By using the Website, you agree that you will not:

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our platform immediately, without prior notice, for any user found violating these rules.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MockType, its developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of career opportunities, loss of data, or damages resulting from reliance on the accuracy of our evaluation algorithms.

6. "As Is" Warranty Disclaimer

The services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular educational purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Significant material changes will be indicated by an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the platform following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
